The Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO LP 620-2 was introduced in 2018 and was produced through 2021 for Lamborghini’s one-make racing series, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo. This model, based on the Lamborghini Huracán, was an evolution of the previous Super Trofeo model, featuring upgrades to aerodynamics, handling, and durability.
Key features of the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO LP 620-2 included a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine producing 620 hp, rear-wheel drive (denoted by the "2" in LP 620-2), and a sequential 6-speed X-Trac gearbox optimized for racing. The EVO model was noted for its aggressive aerodynamic improvements, including a redesigned rear wing, side fins, and a roof scoop to enhance airflow and cooling. These changes were developed in collaboration with Dallara to improve stability, downforce, and high-speed handling, ensuring competitive performance in the Super Trofeo racing series.
The EVO version remained largely unchanged through its production years, with Lamborghini focusing on consistent performance and reliability enhancements to support its use in both sprint and endurance races across the Super Trofeo series.
