The WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is a worldwide famous motorsports track located in Monterrey, California. It was inaugurated in 1957, resulting from an initiative lead by a private association of car racing enthusiasts known as SCRAMP (Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterrey Peninsula). WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca underwent a comprehensive repaving project that was completed in June 2023. This initiative was part of a broader $20 million renovation and beautification effort, marking the most extensive capital improvement at the track in over two decades.
The project included not only resurfacing the 2.238-mile circuit but also constructing a new Start/Finish bridge and enhancing various facilities within the Laguna Seca Recreation Area.
