2009: SR3 RS was launched in 2009 it was named after UK's Rockingham Speedway design was based on SR9 LMP2 race car. It was introduced with a Suzuki-based 1.3L or 1.5L inline-four engine, producing up to 260 hp. Its lightweight, aerodynamic design and sequential gearbox made it a popular choice for track days and racing, offering exceptional downforce and handling.
2010: Radical continued to refine the SR3 RS, offering minor updates to improve reliability and performance, along with upgraded components for increased durability in racing conditions.
2011: This year saw updates to the braking system and cooling for better endurance in longer track sessions. Radical also began offering more customization options, allowing drivers to tailor the SR3 RS to their specific racing needs.
2012: Radical introduced slight improvements to the aerodynamics, further optimizing the car’s downforce and stability at high speeds. New interior options were added to enhance driver comfort in extended track use.
2013: In response to racing feedback, Radical upgraded the suspension setup, allowing for more precise handling and adjustability. This year also brought improved electronics, offering better data logging and telemetry options for drivers and teams.
2014: The final production year for the SR3 RS saw it remain largely unchanged, maintaining its reputation as one of the most popular, reliable, and performance-driven track cars before being succeeded by the SR3 RSX in 2015.
