2014: The SR3 RSX debuted as the successor to the SR3 RS, featuring a more powerful RPE-Suzuki engine (available in 1.5L or 1.3L configurations) and producing up to 226 hp. It introduced a new aerodynamic package with improved downforce, modernized LED lighting, a fully digital dashboard, and a Motec data-logging system, enhancing driver feedback and vehicle diagnostics.
2015: Radical made minor refinements, focusing on reliability improvements for endurance racing. Some components were upgraded for durability, including enhanced cooling systems and improved brake components, ensuring consistent performance across various racing conditions.
2017: This year brought updates to the suspension system, offering new options for further tuning and adjustability. Radical introduced lightweight wheel options, allowing racers to reduce unsprung mass, which contributed to sharper handling and responsiveness on the track.
2018: Radical updated the cockpit design to improve driver comfort, adding a slightly revised seating position and optional padding upgrades. The electrical system was also enhanced for better reliability, especially in endurance events, ensuring uninterrupted performance for long track sessions.
2019: Minor changes were made to the aerodynamics package, refining the wing and diffuser setup to provide more stability and downforce at higher speeds. Radical also introduced additional customization options for the dashboard display, giving drivers more flexibility with data visualization.
2020: Radical introduced updated safety features in compliance with evolving racing standards, including enhanced seatbelt harnesses and additional rollover protection. Improved engine management software was also rolled out, optimizing power delivery and fuel efficiency for endurance-focused setups.
