SR3 RSX
The Radical SR3 RSX is a purpose-built sports racing car manufactured by British company Radical Sportscars, representing the third generation of the SR3 model line introduced in 2015. The RSX is powered by an RPE-tuned Suzuki Generation 3 inline-four, 1,500cc DOHC motorcycle engine producing 260 horsepower (155 kW), delivering extraordinary performance through a six-speed sequential transverse gearbox with pneumatic paddle-shift system and auto-blipper. Power is transmitted through a Quaife torque-biasing limited-slip differential to optimize traction.
The SR3 RSX achieves remarkable performance figures with 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph, all while weighing less than 600 kilograms (approximately 1,300 pounds) thanks to its lightweight trellis chassis construction. The aerodynamic design incorporates LMP-style downforce generation, allowing sustained cornering loads up to 2G at high speeds. The car can also be ordered with a 1,340cc Supersport engine variant. The SR3 RSX combines accessibility with genuine racing performance, making it popular for track days, club racing, and dedicated racing series like the Radical Challenge, offering drivers an authentic prototype sports car experience at a fraction of the cost of traditional sports racing categories.
