4th place overall. Really, really great group of people. Thanks AutoSport Fab and BMW CCA CR for all that you do.
Turn 1 is the bane of my existence. Also, I drive like garbage in my mirrors, struggle with managing brake pad knockback and really, really struggle with the gearbox and heal-toe in threshold braking zones (this will be apparent if you watch the video). I also owe John Hewitt in the #83 KP an apology for really messing up the timing of coming under him going into 10. Trying to balance getting by and leaving room were opposing forces that led to really bad timing.
Wasn't even close to lap times of qualifying. It was late afternoon and the track was warm, others probably had the same experience. Always have fun with Peter Agapoglou, Liam Harrow and the rest of the gang in the C-Mod group.
Highlights - held my position at the start, particularly with starting on the outside (this has been a challenge for me in the prior 4 races I've done). And, most proud of being flat through the upper esses AND right hander (turn 9) at the top of esses before 10.
Best lap time of the weekend was Friday Qualifying, 2:00.25. Other than having clean, competitive racing, the one major goal of the weekend was a 1:59.99. Was just short.
