Session @1pm on 13th July 2019

Best time 1:33.28 on lap 2 from 3:35. Needs improvement

Was an awesome session! At a fair price of £35 for 20min of track time by Japfest! Got 10 laps in. Plenty of action.
Ive got so much room for improvement though, so will have to keep practicing in future.
Spun out on lap LAP 4 for my own mistake; tried downshift without enough braking before and lack of blip, for which the MR2 definitely punished me lol! Thats Mid Engined RWD for you. And some unintentional engine braking.
LAP 5 nearly skidded out by braking late on the brow of the hill.
Deffo's lessons learnt, on to the next one.

*note* my tyres were over inflated for this session.... which meant a lack of cornering grip which I only paid attention to after... they were @ 33psi front and 38psi rear...

They were basically already inflated high for highway driving (santapod)... also not helped by the fact the rears would be over 40psi after heat from a few laps.

I have since learned... that tyres should be let down below the target psi. target psi will be reached after a few track laps, due to increased tyre temps. Giving maximum grip and stability, without over inflation.
