GBM sits on 407 acres of agricultural lands near the shores of Lake Huron in Grand Bend, Ontario, on a 2 hours ride north from Detroit, Michigan. The track surface tends to be wet most of the year, as there is abundant rainfall during spring, summer, and autumn. Winters are cold and snowy, so the racing season lasts from April to October.
