Sentul International Circuit
Sentul International Circuit Notes:
Circuit Calafat is one of Spain's most technical and physically demanding tracks, a 3.25-kilometer ribbon of asphalt snaking through the coastal town of L'Ametlla de Mar in Tarragona, Catalunya, just 800 meters from the Mediterranean shore. With 16 corners packed into its relatively short length—nine right-handers and seven left—the layout is famously sinuous, characterized by linked turns that flow into one another with little respite. The completely flat circuit features a 600-meter main straight and aggressive curbs that separate fast laps from average ones, rewarding drivers who commit to attacking the track's technical sequences. Certified by the Catalan Motorcycle and Automobile Federation, the circuit's urban-style layout makes it ideal for Formula E training and serves as a training camp for professional drivers. Despite modest top speeds, Calafat's relentless corner sequences and well-proportioned run-off areas create an intense driving experience that tests both driver skill and physical endurance in Catalunya's warm coastal climate.
