600LT Spider
The McLaren 600LT Spider (2019-2020) represents the convertible variant of McLaren's Longtail track-focused supercar philosophy. The 600LT Spider features a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 592 horsepower (442 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque at 5,500-6,500 rpm. Power is delivered through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission to the rear wheels. Performance includes 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 201 mph. The 600LT Spider adds only 110 pounds over the coupe (2,859 pounds dry weight) thanks to carbon fiber monocoque construction and one-piece carbon fiber retractable hardtop. Track-focused features include top-exit exhaust, carbon fiber aerodynamic package, race-spec suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and lightweight forged wheels. The Longtail philosophy emphasizes weight reduction, increased downforce, and enhanced track capability while maintaining McLaren's daily usability. The 600LT Spider combines extreme performance with open-air driving, offering one of the most focused convertible supercars available.
