SR3 Turbo
The Radical SR3 Turbo represents turbocharged evolution of Radical legendary SR3 platform, based on Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle engines with enhanced forced induction. The standard SR3 configuration utilizes 1,340cc or stroked 1,500cc Suzuki Hayabusa-derived inline-four engines producing 195-226 horsepower naturally aspirated, with the 1,500cc variant featuring increased stroke to 71.5mm (from 65mm), Arrow connecting rods, and gas-flowed head delivering 226-250 bhp. Turbocharged variants achieve up to 500 flywheel bhp, transforming the already extreme platform into genuine race-weapon territory. Weighing less than 600 kg (approximately 625 kg race-ready with standard 1,500cc spec), the SR3 achieves extraordinary power-to-weight ratios enabling 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds.
The lightweight trellis chassis with advanced aerodynamics generates downforce allowing cornering acceleration up to 2g at high speeds. The six-speed sequential transaxle with optional limited-slip differential provides rapid gear changes optimized for circuit competition. The SR3 serves as dedicated track day car and race car competing in various series worldwide, with the platform success demonstrated through consistent wins in club racing and amateur motorsport. The turbocharged SR3 variants represent ultimate expression of motorcycle-engine-powered sports racing cars, offering genuine race car performance and handling at accessible cost compared to purpose-built prototypes. The combination of minimal weight, abundant power, sophisticated aerodynamics, and proven reliability makes the SR3 Turbo one of the fastest and most capable track day cars available.
