Road America GTR 2:22 lap video, 5/22/21
Xwing

Amateur driver, I do HPDE's once in awhile in my 2015 GTR street car.  Pretty careful with it on track, minimal use of rumble strips as I daily drive it and don't want to have to check suspension/ alignment after every event LOL.  I'm happy with its huge trunk to carry all the 50 lb birdseed bags, dog food etc!  Still it goes pretty good, and I guess I can wheel the old girl at least respectably.  Very careful with brakes, no doubt could go faster if I “used all the track” including all rumbles and braked much more aggressively…but longevity is more important to me.  Fun times :)

My 2015 GTR at Road America 5/22/21 HPDE by MVP Motorsports. 2 minute 22 second laptime; room for improvement yet. Rolling lap was 2:21 and theoretical best lap 2:15. Gives me something to work on :) Beautiful blue Porsche GT3 RS passed in the beginning; let off a little for him, and some fuelcuts in straights...sump issues with Radium setup. Hope to have fuel sump improved for 2022.
This was on lowest horsepower map running E75. Managing the brakes by being somewhat conservative in brake zones.
It is 4100 lbs with me in it, so safety and respect are paramount; sneaking up on the combination...but it sure is fun!
