2nd time driving the supra at Laguna after 2 years. I was using a spare set of factory BMW star PSS tires today as I got a puncture on the V601 tires I used in the last event. The tire has no heat cycle with around 4000 street miles. The grip was great in the morning sessions but it dropped significantly in the afternoon. I did a few 1:45.x laps despite a less than ideal track surface condition. The brake pads started fading after just 4 laps so it was kind of difficult to build up confidence with the car. I probably need some racing pads instead of street/track hybrids.
