As these things rise in value, we won’t be seeing them often at track days and most people will start the preservation process now but I got my hands on a track only ZR1 the other day 😁 only 900 M7 cars produced!
I noticed how much slower the revs were compared to my old car but I know this car well and it’s fast. The boys at LG just did a huge round of mods on this thing. The ZR1 really wakes up with thicker sway bars and a short shifter, granted we did a lot more mods than that. The mechical grip was superb and the car was just on rails. I was on the last heat cycle for the pads/tires (P slicks) as new gear was going on soon. I didn’t have much pad so I caried more rolling speed with a lighter braking input style of driving, which nets a fast lap as well.
I really love these cars and mine will always be missed, this particular car is one of the few that still scares me…amazing beast!
