William Chen is an amateur racing driver with 22 laps across 13 vehicles, averaging 1.7 laps per car. Distributed testing includes 4 laps Road Course and 4 laps Big Willow, enabling basic comparative assessment across extensive automotive variety.
A lot of the work has been last-minute to finish the car before this test. I had a lot of help from teammates of Team 949 Racing (http://www.facebook.com/Team949Racing) and friends and I couldn't have done it without them. Settings were far from perfect and Monty was still a bit incomplete, but it got running and was ready to test. Tires were old leftover scrubs from our Thunderhill 25 Hour race in December 2011.
Three months after being crashed out of a Chumpcar race in June, Monty is repaired and repainted (white and green) thanks to 2nd Chance Roadster (http://2ndchanceroadster.com). Monty is also revamped with new race car parts from 949 Racing (http://949racing.com). XIDA Club Sports coilovers, lightweight 3-puck unsprung ceramic clutch, and an OS Giken LSD are part of the new performance package, which is being tested here.
