I removed the front splitter to stay in SpeedSF's S3 class and despite losing some front end grip (and confidence in the car's balance), managed to beat my previous best by 2.5 seconds. 

Nankang CR-S 285/30/18 tires were used, which take the heat much better than Yoko A052 on this heavy car.

I do want to re-add the front splitter for downforce, so I will be replacing the front bumper and removing the lip and canards, so I can stay in S3 class.
