León Supercopa Mk2
The SEAT León Supercopa Mk2 features turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder producing over 300 horsepower (221 kW) with 340 Nm torque through direct fuel injection, manufactured by SEAT Sport in Spain as purpose-built racing car from bare shell rather than modified road vehicle. McPherson adjustable front suspension and multi-link rear axle with adjustable dampers for bump/rebound, spring stiffness, camber, toe and ride height enable comprehensive setup tuning, with 362mm vented disc brakes, six-piston AP Racing calipers, and 18-inch wheels with Yokohama slick tires.
Introduced 2006 in Spain and Germany (2007 Britain) replacing original Mk1 Supercopa, the Mk2 competes in national one-make championships including SEAT León Eurocup and regional series across Europe. WTCC-derived aerodynamic package including front/rear spoilers and venturi tunnel underbody plus professional motorsport components create accessible touring car racing platform with controlled costs through spec-series regulations, establishing pathway for driver development and amateur racer participation in professional-specification touring car competition.
