On 12 May 2018 we went to Road America for a track day , out first one in the ZR1. Vehicle is bone stock, adjusted as per Manual recommendations. Set to Track mode Sport1. It was a cool day 53 F and windy. Tires never got up to temp and no cooling concerns. The car accelerates well and has awesome brakes. handles well too, lots of grip over 1.25 g's. The 911 Turbos had to pull over and let us by. There is more time to be gained at Road America, warmer temps to heat the tires, using 100 octane fuel and getting the driver use to the particular vehicle characteristics.
