My first time trying my friend's old AMG CLA45 (C117) on this track, Tianfu International Circuit, a new FIA F2 track in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.

Hilarious that I just did one hot lap and the gas ran out completely ... 😂 just had to go back to the pit.

Modification: KW V3 Clubsport Suspension, LSD on the front axle, 3 passengers' seats removed, a rear wing.


First time driving this car, which is supposed to be pretty much the same as my A45, but due to the modifications, it was very different to drive, much better at corners I would say.

So being unfamiliar with this car, I braked to early at T1 & T13, then I realized it has better brakes so I overpushed it at T16, which almost caused the car to go outside of the track, and some gear selection mistakes , I lost quite some time in this first test lap.

Tire: mixed street tires 
Front Vitour V-01R 265/35 R18
Rear Toyo R888 R 255/40 R18

I could’ve done 01:37.XXX easily if there were more gas in the tank😅 and with a set of semislicks like Trofeo RS, Cup 2 or CR-S，01:36.XXX would not be a problem 👌🏻



Laptime reference: Track day P1 currently is 01:26.44, my friend 's heavily track-modified BMW M4 (G82).

GT3 Race cars pole lap by Pro racer is around 01:18.
