Fun day out testing my DC5 Integra at Baskerville Raceway on a damp to wet track. Overloaded microphone gives some idea of the hearing damage I likely sustained whilst driving - PLM headers and Skunk exhaust system were SO loud without the bung in the back. Car has a few bolt on engine mods to help breathing, some basic coilovers and some critical bushes replaced with PU versions. Rolling on 18x8.5" wheels with slightly less offset than standard (increased track) and Michelin PS Cup 2 tyres. Front pads were totally gone by the end of this session. Get some better ones, braided lines, fluid and I reckon a disc machine before I take it out again. Traction out of corners is terrible despite my attempts to adjust spring preload, alignment, shock damping and tyre pressures to ameliorate. Would wheelspin all the way up the hill and around the corner onto the start/finish straight. Perhaps an LSD would be a good investment also? Video taken using the Garmin Catalyst driver training aid.
