Baskerville Raceway is a 2.010-kilometer (1.249-mile) motor racing circuit located at 473 Baskerville Road, Old Beach, a northern suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. The circuit opened on February 9, 1958, by then-Tasmanian Premier Robert Cosgrove with 20,000 spectators in attendance. Baskerville is the second-oldest continuously operating motor racing venue in Australia, with only Mount Panorama (which opened in 1938) being older. The track is currently known as Bulk Nutrients Baskerville Raceway in deference to its naming rights sponsor.
Set in natural surroundings, spectators can sit in their cars and view the entire circuit. The track is described as tight and demanding, featuring a fast straight, an off-camber corner, and a relatively blind corner at the top of a steep hill. These characteristics create a challenging environment for drivers across various motorsport disciplines. The circuit continues to host various motorsport events for both cars and motorcycles, maintaining its position as an important racing facility in Tasmania and one of Australia's most historic racing venues.
