2014 Z/28 Camaro
VIR Grand Course
11/29/2014
Session 4
4th Lap 2:57.95
This is my first time on track with the car, i have owned it about a week and only got to run one day on the grand course. The Z/28 was bone stock, and the alignment was set to gm's track spec, i also racked up the 1500 brake in miles and flushed the brake fluid to motul 600. The braking was incredible, oddly enough everytime i got off the brakes left me thinking i broke too soon. The turn in and corner grip was also very surprising for such a heavy car. The engineers did a wonderful job. The only problem was the gear shifter at least 4 times didnt want to go into 3rd only under a higher g load, the heel toe techique is a bit harder as well as the pedal spacing is pretty far apart, i got used to it but it took a few session.
