Definitely not my finest work lol...

First time at Pittrace in the dry. I managed to run this 2:01.46 later in my 2nd session, but grip started falling off after this. I think my tires were at the end of their life as 3 of 4 ultimately delaminated during session 5 which cut my weekend short. The optimal lap was a 2:00.3 so I know a sub 2:00 should be doable on fresh rubber.

GRIDLIFE was a mixed event with a drifter run group, so the track was dirty as hell. It only got worse as the event went on. They also combined advanced and intermediate HPDE run groups into 1 so the traffic didn't flow very well either.

Gnarly brake pad fade would creep in every couple laps and destroy my confidence, so it was really hard to get a rhythm going. I am going to add real brake cooling in the future to see if it helps since my deflector setup isn't cutting it. I don't think the DTC60s would survive either ngl (they have the same temp rating as the EBCs).

Setup is the same as always. 95 Firebird, 350whp, 3350lbs, suspension and brake mods, RE71RS tires, gorilla at the wheel. No driver aids of any kind (no ABS).
