1.38.63 personal best from my third time running Laguna Seca in the F80.
Finally had the chance to run Laguna in the dry. Was excellent. No river at turn 3!!!! YAY
Was laying down 1.38-39 from the very first session to the last. Still have some room to improve but I am happy with my new PB. Down from a 1.41.81 in the wet - dec 2022 before the repave.
Finally upgraded my Apex staggered wheels to a square 10.5 Bimmerworld setup. Running 295 all around and it was worth the upgrade. Much more front-end grip. The car does NOT want to slide anymore. Very hooked up.
Was also my first time running RE71RS on the F80. They did not disappoint.
I think that I need to upgrade my spring rates on these super sticky tires. Had a little rear rubbing but nothing that I haven't already had on my old setup.
I also feel a front sway bar would help out. Didn't notice the front rolling at laguna like I did out at Streets of willow and buttonwillow. Maybe it is the tire difference, ECF vs RE71? The walls are much stiffer on RE71. I know that.
