Renault Megane 3 RS CUP-S @ Tor Poznań onboard 16.09.2023

Tyres setup (different than this year's usual):
- front: Michelin Pilot Sport 20/65 H30
- rear: pretty used Direzza 235/40/18

The 6th round of Track Masters Central Europe Time Attack Cup was my second attempt to break 1:50 at Tor Poznań - unfortunately I have to try harder than I did 😅 1:49 is still the time of my dreams, but the good thing is that I improved my personal best, so I guess I'm slowly getting there 💪 Also, I won my class again! 🏆 The day was a bit messy, there was a giant oil spill at my first session and we had a veeeery long neutralisation and... that wasn't the last oil spill that day 🙈 After that I did some laps with an instructor and when it was finally time for hot laps, I discovered I hit a curb too hard, the wheel was not doing well and we had to quickly get some new tyres for a pair of spare wheels we took with us (luckily!). Thankfully we had tyres service on the track (ODS Serwis ❤️) and I was able to quickly get back on track and get this lap. These tyres are completely new to me, I haven't driven on rally slicks beforehand, so I think for the next time, I would play a bit more with the pressures. Also, on the way back home we discovered that the front suspension got some damage... we'll see what exactly happened, but I'm super happy that even with these issues I was able to get some seconds off my personal best!
