Kakucsring CW

Kakucsring is a compact motorsport facility located in Kakucs, Hungary. The circuit was originally built as a go-kart track but has evolved to accommodate many different motorsport disciplines beyond its original purpose. The main layout measures approximately 999 meters (just under 1.1 kilometers or 0.7 miles) in length, making it one of Hungary's smaller permanent racing circuits.

The track is characterized as short, narrow, and technical with plenty of curves, emphasizing driving precision over high-speed performance. Kakucsring is particularly suitable for low-power drifting and go-karts due to its tight, technical nature. The circuit features multiple layout configurations including a "Laptiming" layout, with configurable cone barriers that can be rearranged for different event types and configurations. The facility is primarily used for track days, time attack events, drifting, karting, and various motorsport disciplines. With an overall average speed of approximately 74 km/h (46 mph), Kakucsring serves as an accessible and affordable motorsport venue in Hungary where technical driving skills are more important than outright horsepower, making it popular for driver development and grassroots motorsport activities.
