This particular McLaren 765LT has wheel spacers, -3.8/-2.3 camber, toe adjustments and OEM tires.
Itâs a fighter jet on wheels, thatâs a fact! Itâs not by any means a novice or intermediate driving style type of vehicle. Itâs razor sharp and on edge, under driving the 765LT is the play. Little inputs and carry more speed.
Entry oversteer is present, it doesnât lay down power, corner exit will bite youâŚmaintenance throttle is key. 4th gear was the money gear, donât try and exit a corner in 3rd unless it has a low min speed around 40-60 give or take. 70mph corner exit is a 4th gear up shift đ. Needed to run 2psi less in the rear as well. We are going to check the alignment but it has an overly aggressive alignment IMO and maybe the rear toe is out. McLarenâs are very alignment sensitive, less is more. Very special car, the 765LT is a dream drive no doubt. It did get hot around lap 5-6, lost a decent amount of power (boost) and it also drinks fuel like itâs champagne. Youâll burn or blow out the tail pipe around half a tank per 20mins in a decently hot environment lol, totally worth it of course!!!
MTT got me a at a 1:58.8xx, optimal was 1:57.6 đ¤
