This is my fastest lap of the two days at RA with the Audi Club. Was close to breaking the 3:00 mark, which was a goal I randomly set at the beginning. I hit a 3:01, and am way happy about that. Super fun, will do again! I learned a ton about the track, and also about the limits of my car.
Throughout the two days I experienced many unique things, some good, some not so good. My Giulia was being VERY Italian. Out of the 8, 25 minute sessions, I was able to do two full sessions, and the rest were partial sessions due to the car freaking out and throwing codes (There's actually nothing wrong, it just thinks there is). I believe that if it were not for the issues, I would have reached my lap time goal, but there's more to the event than just pulling faster times. I learned better lines, turn setup (prep), and also awareness. Finally was able to drive the car quick enough to learn where the limits of grip are, and did so very safely. These Yoko Ono's speak very nicely towards the edge of grip. :D
