Stock everything besides weight reduction and a remap.
Cheap shit tyres all round. 205/50/17 on the front (stock is 225! I will sort this now, figured I may as well cook them on track before getting rid) 225/50/17 on the back
Shit brake pads which looked almost new. now we have steel on steel at the front (I have decent pads and discs all round ready to go on.)
I was still improving but the car was losing grip and brakes, didn't manage any quicker than what appears to be a 3.10. A handful of laps were right on that pace.
Overall I'm really impressed with the big old barge. Did about 14 mpg and worked hard all day without going wrong. We weren't the slowest out there, but I've learned a lot and can see from footage what to work on with my driving. Great fun throwing it about, I'm pleased with the sort of time I was making and the types of cars I was keeping up with in this very much non track car
