Finally. after a long wait, i was given 5 laps to try Radical XXR 1300cc (hayabusa engine)… i am given slight restrictions for test drive with Map 7 (throttle response limit). 

regardless i am glad that i got this rare opportunity to try this mind bending machine. i think this will be good for indonesian Motorsport world…

radical will defy your logic. my mind said “brake brake brake” and when i did, the car tease me, like saying “too soon junior” 🥲

you need to trust the aero, forget everything you know about boxed car, and re learn everything.

second thing is the G force… holding G force that big, made me ran out of breathe after 5 laps. this is unexpected from some overweight asian 42yo with no regular cardio or neck training. but with sheer will power i tried to hold on.

there are some corners where my vision got skipped or black for few split sec, which tell myself “old man, slow down, try again later”

apart from all that, i think the limit is my limted experience and limited driving skills. the main issue here is braking. i am not used to the brakes and i coast too much between gas pedal and brakes… why, because i got abit scared… 🙈 it will takes time for me to learn this machine and to have the skills worthy of its true potential. i love it… like anything that force me to learn something new ❤️
