ウィントン・モーター・レースウェイは、オーストラリアのビクトリア州にあるウィントンという町に位置し、メルボルンから車で約2時間半の場所にあります。この1.86マイル（2.99キロ）のロードコースは、12の狭い角度のターンといくつかのストレートセクションから構成される複雑で高度なレイアウトを持っています。自然なアップダウンと曲がりくねったコースの配置の組み合わせにより、レーサーの視界が制限され、より高い速度で反応や操作を行うことがより困難になります。1961年11月26日にオープンしたこのサーキットはちょうど60歳を迎えました。レースウェイの気候は暖かく穏やかで、年間を通して降雨量が均等に分布しているため、天候条件をチェックして事前に準備することが必要です。
ウィントン・モーター・レースウェイは、最長のストレートであるキトームストレートの真ん中からスタートします。1つ目と2つ目のターンは90度のコーナーで、反対方向に進み、BPアルティメットストレートに入ります。北側の矩形を形成するホンダと日産のコーナーは、フォット・ウェーストレートにつながり、そこからサーキット唯一の高速スイーパーであるターン5に進みます。6番から9番までのコーナーは、ドライバーの機動性とスピードコントロールにとって本当のチャレンジであり、2つのストレートと90度のターンを経てループを閉じます。
