991.1 Carrera GTS
The Porsche 991.1 Carrera GTS, introduced in November 2014 at the LA Motor Show, bridges the gap between the Carrera S and GT3 models. Powered by a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 430 PS (424 hp/316 kW) at 7,500 rpm and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) at 5,750 rpm, this performance-enhanced variant features dry sump lubrication and achieves 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds with PDK transmission and Launch Control. The engine drives through either a 7-speed manual transmission or optional 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, with a top speed of 306 km/h (190 mph) and a kerb weight of 1,425 kg.
Standard equipment includes the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, Dynamic Engine Mounts, 10mm lowered suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) system, LED daytime running lights with Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS), Sport Design front spoiler and side mirrors, GTS-specific badging, and 20-inch centerlock wheels. The comprehensive performance package positions the Carrera GTS as the most complete driver-focused variant in the standard 911 lineup, offering near-GT3 performance with greater daily usability and comfort.
