Enjoyable following this fast Cupra around, probably running similar lap times , it's a track day not a race so always keep a respecttful distance from other cars. Spoke to the driver afterwards and I think he was surprised a TT was keeping up with him. This was a 2WD car which I could see as he was laying down black lines out of some of the slower corners. A052 tyres on this probably better than my well worn AR1's. Had to give up in the end as low fuel in the tank leads to starvation, you can hear the popping and banging when I accelerate out of the Melbourne loop the last time. Ignitron put the car in limp mode because it went lean.
In a quattro it has a hump in the tank and on fast right hand bends all the fuel goes to the other side of the tank, Melbourne loop is very off camber right hand bend and with under a 1/4 tank the engine suffers fuel starvation.
Hopefully sorted soon with the addition of a fuel swirl pot.
