The RP968 is a highly modified Porsche 968 developed by PR Technology, designed specifically for time attack racing. It has achieved significant success, securing the World Time Attack Challenge (WTAC) championship titles in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023.

At the heart of the RP968 is the "Thor" engine, a custom-built 4.0-liter inline-four developed by Elmer Racing. This billet aluminum engine is capable of producing over 1,500 horsepower for circuit racing applications. The engine's lightweight design, weighing approximately 106 kg, contributes to the car's exceptional performance.

The RP968 features extensive aerodynamic enhancements, including a large adjustable rear wing, front splitter, and a comprehensive diffuser system. These modifications are designed to maximize downforce and stability at high speeds. The car's bodywork has been extensively re-engineered, with significant use of carbon fiber to reduce weight and improve structural rigidity.

The chassis has been extensively modified to accommodate the new engine position, which has been moved down and back to improve the center of gravity. This repositioning required redesigning components such as the inlet and exhaust manifolds, sump, and oil pump mounts. The suspension system has been optimized for track performance, incorporating data from numerous sensors to fine-tune handling characteristics.

In 2023, the RP968 set a new lap record at Sydney Motorsport Park with a time of 1:17.860, breaking its previous record by nearly 1.5 seconds. This achievement marked the team's fourth consecutive outright win at the WTAC, equaling the record held by the Tilton Evo.
