Weather: Cool in the morning, got a bit toasty in the afternoon
Fun outing with the gang at norcal's best track. The spring problem from east a few weeks ago was the spring perch and coupler binding. The solution was to flip the stack so helpers are at the bottom where it can only bind with the preload collar. That one has a very short lip so there was no chance of binding. I was afraid I may have had to bow out of this event, but fortunately the replacement parts arrived on time. Skipped the first session due to instructor responsibilities, so I missed out on 1 of 2 supa cool sessions in the morning, but no big deal. I was driving a bit better as the day wore on, but overall grip was down. Still felt good though.
Harnesses (and halo) really shined here. I was way more in control and comfortable driving at the limit. I was more consistent and willing to use the exit rumble strips on the sketchier parts of the track. It felt great at east, but Sonoma really made them a game changer. Next event will likely be the 2-day event at east and west in October, so a bit of a break until then.

36:55 could have made this way more fun but I was conscious of my wallet
48:32 I blame Joe and Tony for creeping up on me, causing me to slide the next few corners and ruining what would have been my best lap today :)
