Another laguna event for 2025, and this one was rough. My brake pedal turned mushy during the 2nd session on Friday, and it never recovered after. Lost all feel in the first 20-30% of travel, so I had trouble modulating. I'm also not sure if the C1Xs have the same bite as the C21s, or if it's the tire difference. While I was doing lead follow on Saturday, sometimes my pedal almost went to the floor due to how little I brake during those sessions. It made me a bit nervous when out in my own sessions, but I somehow managed.

I also started getting a lot of clunking in the rear right. That was the corner where I adjusted the sway bar, so I was thinking I just did it wrong. For some reason though, the clunking disappeared after Saturday, so maybe it was just pad knock. I may still take it to the shop to get everything inspected.

The CRS impressed me this weekend. The turn-in response isn't as good as the RE71RS, but man the cornering grip is damn good. It also takes forever to overheat, even at this track with how hard I have to brake. Lots of people have convinced me to try VR2s, but I may have to stick with these for a while. I think I still have a couple days left on these tires, so hopefully they survive the east weekend in a couple weeks.
