1:28.0 is when I start the first lap, the fastest lap comes right after. 
The track is not ideal with the repairs so I tried to compare by bringing my usual A052 tires for some baslines. I think the track is 1-1.5s slower with these repairs on the track and working around it. I compared the mid-life A052 vs the brand new Hoosier TAP. Fronts: A052 are 265/35-18 and the TAP is 275/35-18, rears are 315/30-18 and both are run on the same Apex VS-5RS forged 18x10 front and 18x12 rear. 

Raw, unfiltered video of my impressions after 1st session on Hoosier Racing Tire Track Attack Pro can be seen on my Facebook page. @RSpeed77 with @t.rs.project went to MSR Houston on Thursday to compare A052, which I've run for years. Historically, my best ever on A052 at MSRH was clockwise at 1:36.2. Many report the CCW is 0.5-1s slower for most. I looked back and so far 1:37.0 CCW is my PB on A052. 

This track has repairs that happened on Monday and coned off for all my runs. The best base lap on Thursday on mid-life A052 was roughly a 39. See combined images on FB for the breakdown of each session. 

With the track repairs, my friend confirmed today, the data is showing the track being blocked off is slowing us down 1.5-2s compared to a normal track condition. This further confirms that we think the TAP is probably 0.5-1s faster than A052 if you have a fresh tire to fresh tire comparison. 

There seems to be hero tread available for the first session for 2 laps. The hero sticker grip was pretty bonkers and I probably underestimated it during my run. 

Now it's time to see how they hold up on runs and heat cycles.
