Put fresh Cup 2 tires and the car feels alive again! They work wonders on the street - great NVH and ride quality, and very nice on the track, as well. I'd say the tire wall is a bit too soft to pair with the XIDAs on track, causing the road bumps not to be absorbed as nicely. However, the increased maximum grip compared to rock-solid RE-71R still made it possible to refresh my PBs session after session. Had a ton of fun that day!
Coming up, I'm planning to try Raybestos brake pads once the current set is over. ST-47 front & ST-45 back would take the lap time to the next level!
