I feel extremely lucky & proud to own this 1-of-1 981 Porsche Boxster Spyder. 

"The Spyder was a limited-production model with 2,486 units in total made with 829 of those destined for North America." (Source: Wikipedia). Among those 829 units, 22 are Paint-to-Sample, and there's only 1 in the world painted in this color - Ipanema Blue Metallic. 

Needless to say, I broke my previous PB on the Boxster S by taking a whole second off with a complete stock car with absolutely zero mod. This shows two things - one, weight matters, and two, power matters, even on a smaller track.

What makes a Porsche 981 Spyder THE dream car of a TRUE car enthusiast? 
My answer: Biggest engine in the lineup (3.8L Carrera S engine), 6-Spd manual with amazing shift feel, open-air convertible experience, lightest curb weight in the lineup (even lighter than the GT4), a truly timeless, unique design plus Porsche reliability. What else do you possibly need?

I'm debating with myself whether or not to bring the Spyder to the track more often. It's such a gem!
