In December of 2023, racing champion David Donohue drove John Hennessey's stock 2023 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 into the record books at Austin's Circuit of the Americas racetrack. The C8 Z06 was optioned with the very rare Z07 track package, exposed carbon fiber wheels, and carbon fiber aero. The conditions of the track on this day were poor and effected what could have been an even faster lap time, but nevertheless, Donohue persevered and managed to run an incredible 2:19:18.

Buckle up for an incredible first-person look at the record lap. The Corvette is completely stock with no modifications at the time of this run. Lap times and record was captured through the General Motors 'Performance Data Recorder' in the Corvette.
