Driving fast in a 4400lbs car is not as fun as it sounds. A lot of work went into figuring out how much tires/brakes I have. Realistically this car only has 2 push laps before I ran out of tires/batteries. So we had to do it F1 quali style, go out, set a time and cool down. Body roll is a huge problem so most of the driving is focused on minimizing the work on suspension travel. Top end speed is lacking and that's the limit we have on the 980 Motor.

I believe this is the lap record I know of since no-one and their mom will track their Model Y. With better tires/track condition 1"59 is very do-able - but I don't wanna risk it since this is my daily driver.

Lap time reference:

Stock Model 3 - about 1"56 depending on driver
Model 3 with suspension + tires = 1"50
Model 3 full race prepped with aero = 1"47

Mods:
Paragon R5 Brake pads (made by Winmax Japan)
Page Mill Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Motul RBF 660 Brake Fluid
4 days old Toyo R888Rs (The very same set of tires I set 1"39 in my GTR @ Laguna), 37 PSI cold 285 front/ 315 rear
Spacers up front to clear the 285s front tires
3D printed brake master cylinder stopper

Track mode settings:
Front/Rear Power - 40/60
Regen @ 30% to get more engine braking
Stability control -5

Quick thought - if I were to track this thing full time and keep the interior I would -
1. Alignment - put more negative cambers upfront for easier rotation
2. Stiffer sway bars, rear should be harder to make it turn
3. 2-ways coilovers to adjust compression/rebound speed.
4. Floating rotors to make stopping more predictable.
5. Set stability control to -10
