Taebaek Speedway is a racing circuit located at Gumoonso-dong, near Taebaek, in Gangwon-do Province, South Korea. The facility opened on October 16, 2002, under the name 'Taebaek Junyong Circuit', making it the second oldest circuit in South Korea after Everland Speedway and the country's first FIA official circuit. The track underwent a five-year hiatus due to legal disputes before re-opening in May 2019 as the rebranded Taebaek Speedway.
The circuit measures 2.500 kilometers (1.553 miles) in length and features 10 turns. The facility includes 3,500 spectator seats, a 4-story control tower, and 33 pit facilities. The layout is quite similar to Fuji Speedway before its 2005 renovation, though Fuji Speedway is overwhelmingly longer, larger, wider, and faster. While the track itself is largely flat, it is set in a mountain valley providing a spectacular backdrop. Taebaek Speedway serves as an important motorsport facility in the Gangwon region of South Korea, hosting various national racing series and track day events.
