Eboladrome
Eboladrome Примечания:
The Eboladrome is a test track located at a disused Royal Air Force airfield in Wroughton, near Swindon, England. The track is named for its resemblance to the shape of the Ebola virus when viewed from above. The Eboladrome serves as the official test track for The Grand Tour television series, where most car reviews and all lap times are conducted.
Rather than using the airfield's expansive runways, The Grand Tour constructed their Eboladrome circuit using various taxiways and roads located around the hangar buildings. The track features several distinctively named sections including "Isn't Straight" - the largest and longest part of the track, so-named because it is long and mostly straight but not entirely straight, "Your Name Here" corner - a hairpin turn, and a few 90-degree bends where the tarmac loops around a couple of hangars. The exact track length is approximately 1.2-1.5 miles, though the precise measurement remains uncertain. The unique layout and character of the Eboladrome have made it an iconic feature of The Grand Tour series.
