The fastest hour of the entire Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard weekend is the Timed Shootout on Sunday afternoon. This is when the very fastest cars and drivers at the event hurl their various machines up the hill in the hope of being crowned the champion for that year.

As ever the shootout was filled with incredible cars and names, from WRC rally-winning cars to Le Mans winners and even the very latest track special cars from both McLaren and Hoonigan's world of Gymkhana.

Who would come out on top? You'll have to watch to find out, but our main question is whether this was the most exciting shootout ever?
