NEW VIDEO: Nice track day at Laguna Seca this weekend. Saw and passed our slow-moving GT4RS friend (different corner this time). A few turns later, a crash on turn 2 black flags the session (guy was ok and had track insurance). I've seen a bunch of "offs" there over the years as your car is light coming down from Turn 1. Be careful out there and make sure your brakes are good before heading out to the track.
Previous vid from a few months previous here (same GT4RS, same behavior observed): https://youtu.be/vV4aGe365iE
The GT4RS driver was talked to at several previous events and claims to have over 200 track days and running "1:30's" at this track.
BTW, I saw THAT GT4RS in the paddock in the morning so at the driver's meeting I specifically confirmed with the organizers that it was open passing with no point-by required and the response was "YES" so LEGIT PASS (still would be nice if he'd just move over... AKA follow the rules...)
I'm in a 2015 GT3 (475HP), GT4RS is 493 so can pull me on the straights.
