This entire session would have been 1:25s had it not been for traffic. I pushed my PB all the way down to 1:25.1, and optimal lap is now showing 1:24.5. I’m driving on the limit of what is safe. Car has a 1:24 in it with new slicks. Maybe a high 1:23.8 in the cooler temps of Fall with a soft compound slick.
I suspect I achieved flow state this session as I could feel every inch of the car and every ripple on the road. Thought was minimal, the hands and feet just did their thing.
