Climb aboard my 800hp 2020 Shelby GT500 CFTP as I take a friend's son, who was also driving the track, for a full-send ride-along as we rip to a new personal best for me... a 2:39.2! We had a 2:39 going on the previous lap, but got held up twice and locked in a 2:41 (matching my previous PB). My passenger yelled: "GO FOR IT!" I obliged and we LAUNCHED off the back rollercoaster hill! You will see my tach spike as the rear tires leave the ground. We ended up with one minor slow down for an offline pass... maybe this lap would have been a high 2:38 without that pause. 

This was filmed Memorial Day Weekend at my favorite track - Ozarks International Raceway in Missouri! This is a bucket list track... a MUST! We had a large GT500 forum group that came from all over the country to attend Mustang Club of America - Ponies in the Ozarks! We ended up with a lot of rain, but got 2 completely dry sessions on Saturday... I gave ride-alongs for both dry sessions.
