Exactly 363 days ago I did my first proper track day, and It was at SoW in the same CW configuration.

My lap time back then was a 1:25. I have come a long way since then, but I recognize that I still have a lot to learn. 

Today I hit my 1:18, surpassing my previous PB of 1:20.2. I finished the session early, feeling bittersweet knowing that the 1:17 was right there if I didn’t encounter the blue GT3RS towards the end of the lap. 

This was the first session of the day and it was already in the high 70 degree fahrenheit range with limited track grip. 

It’s easy to make excuses, so with the above in mind, today was a great success, and I’m happy with my progress. I look forward to returning back to Streets in the winter to hit that 1:17. It’s easily 

Up next weekend is Laguna Seca next week where I will be pushing hard. 

Stock GT3. Only mods are new seats, half cage and alignment.
