Sonoma Raceway and 7th track day in my new(ish) M2.
First time driving Sonoma in 15 years and what a way to get re-introduced. The Sonoma walls are intimidating enough, but with a completely drenched track??? And I show up without my helmet??? SWEET! (Not). There were about 8 crashes/offs including a 911 and I think also an M4 CS. The straightaway between 6 and 7 and between 10 and 11 were easily the most dodgy and I think where many of the issues occured, and also I felt that some standing water right before 12 kicked you out a little if you weren't careful. But I still made the best of it and just gained further experience with wet track days. Combined with managing the remaining front pads I had left, I was taking it light but still having fun!
Too bad the //M day didn't pan out as well as everyone hoped. Not only the rain, but the plans to have the //M day gathering in Lot B were a no go for most people and everyone just ended up descending on the paddock which I kept the camera rolling at the end of the video getting back to my parking space after the session.
The following day's last session was better at least for a little bit faster runs.
Onto my first time ever at Laguna on 3/15!!!
0:00 - Second fastest lap of the session
2:20 - Fastest lap of the session
7:45 - Driving through the //M day paddock
