2.03.04 best lap from my first time running Buttonwillow Raceway CW13. 94 degree high.
Really really liked buttonwillow. Wish it wasn't so far away. (Sacramento)
Might have the most excuses ever for this event. Save that story for the full track day video.

Buttonwillow is the fasted track I have run. Not used to so many high-speed corners back-to-back.
That is what really held back my time aside from heat. I need more practice with control at those constant speeds. (no track insurance also loomed over me) Several corners I wasn't going full out, on purpose.
I tried to eat up all the curbs. Decent set on this lap. Messed up phil hill.

Ran two run groups with only 20-minute cooldowns between Group 5 and 3.
Engine heat soaked progressively worse all day. Tires got a little greasy with all the sessions in short turnaround. My body was also very heat soaked after 2 days outside.
Even the fast people were down seconds from their normal pace.

Would love to run button again but with the E46. I feel like it would be amazing.
I have decided that the E46 is way better than the f80 for tracking. Only took a couple years to figure out. lol.

The one change I would make to the F80 is a front sway bar. I could really feel the front roll. More tuned to the feeling after I upgraded the E46 sway. Not convinced I want to mod the F80 any further tho.
